SHELLEY FORESHORE

Public BBQ

The area is a vibrant community hub, especially lively during New Year's with fireworks, live music, and food vans. It boasts ample space for events, with water stations, security, and first aid ensuring a well-organized experience. Families enjoy its extensive playgrounds and clean facilities. The foreshore, accessible for picnics and walks, features a small beach and jetty, ideal for light water sports and fishing. Ample parking and public amenities complement the natural beauty, making it a favorite for both morning walks and evening strolls. However, lighting is inadequate for late activities. The serene waterfront is perfect for relaxing, and the view of the city skyline enhances its charm, particularly during sunset or special events like Australia Day, offering a peaceful yet engaging environment for all visitors.
